Free Backup Dial-up for Broadband Connection Faults

ADSL Dial

Posted on: Thursday 10 August 2006, 18:58

As part of our ongoing commitment to our customers and from a suggestion through working with the PlusNet Usergroup, should you experiencing a broadband connection problem we will now be offering a free backup dial-up service.

The backup dial-up service is provided over the same infrastructure that our existing Anytime dial-up accounts have used for several years, so you will need to use a dial-up modem.

Details of the dial-up number and how to set this up will be provided to a customer when they raise a fault, however customers may wish to take note of the dial-up number now and print off and save the set-up instructions in case they are unable to get online should a fault occur.

The dial-up number is: 0808 9933270

The setup guide can be found at:

http://www.plus.net/support/dialup/dialup/connection_guide.shtml

Please note that the username to connect on the dial-up number will be of the format "username" rather than "username@plusdsl.net" (without the quotation marks).

We understand and appreciate the frustration and problems that customers see when their broadband connection isn't working and should at least allow customers to get online and do the important tasks like sending and receiving email without having to pay extra for the phone calls through no fault of their own.

Kind Regards,
