Email Delivery (45835) - RESOLVED
Posted on: Thursday 30 August 2007, 19:19
This is an update to the previously reported problem affecting the delivery of email to customers' mailboxes. A copy of the last announcement can be seen here:-
http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1188407530.htm
All legitimate email has now been dequeued from the anti-spam appliances. The email now left on these servers is almost entirely made up of failed delivery reports which are expected to clear down as they expire.
Whilst the vast majority of email is being sent, received and delivered in a timely fashion we have identified a separate problem affecting the sending of email via our relay servers. For the sake of clarity and to avoid confusion a separate Service Status thread has been started to track this issue:-
