Dspam & Postini anti-spam false positives (48952) - RESOLVED
Posted on: Monday 21 January 2008, 18:24
This is an update to the previously reported problem resulting in customers on the new Postini anti-spam platform seeing an inordinate amount of legitimate email being tagged as [-SPAM-] by our old spam filters. A copy of the last announcement can be seen here:-

We are now using Postini to tag the subject line of emails and Dspam has been switched off for those who have already been migrated to the new platform. The remainder of customers are planned to be moved across over the coming weeks. This overcomes the problems with the old Dspam filters:-
http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1200331565.htm
We are aware that a number of customers are enquiring as to the use of the spam@despamchecker.plus.com and notspam@dspamchecker.plus.com addresses for reporting incorrectly spam-tagged emails sent to them since being moved to Postini. We would like to take this opportunity to advise customers who have been migrated that these addresses are no longer relevant and should not be used.
We will be introducing the functionality for customers to white-list and black-list their own addresses shortly, further details of which will be announced nearer the time.
Kind Regards,
Bob Pullen
