This is an update to the previously reported problem preventing access to our news servers. A copy of the last announcement can be seen here:-

We believe that Customers on the trial RIN network should now be able to connect as normal. Access has also been restored for most customers on the PlusNet network. Unfortunately, there are still problems connecting to the servers from some IP addresses. Most of these are in the range 212.159.xxx.xxx

We are also continuing to experience difficulties with authentication on accounts that allow it.

We would like to apologise for the inconvenience and thank customers for their continued patience whilst we work to resolve this issue.
