This is an update to the previously reported problem preventing access to our news servers. A copy of the last announcement can be seen here:-

We have now rolled out the long term fix that will restore Usenet access for all customers as long as they are connecting to the service from within the PlusNet network.

Allowing authenticated access from a non-PlusNet connection is still not possible and we will be contacting customers whose accounts rely on this shortly with a further update.
