Inbound mail delays (52690) - UPDATE

This is an update to the previously reported problem causing delays in the delivery of customers email. A copy of the original announcement can be seen here:-

We have been advised by our email security vendor (Postini), that they have recently suffered a systems failure. It was this failure that led to an increase in load on our mail delivery platform.

Postini have switched to their backup systems and load on our platform is returning to normal levels. Email is no longer being refused and most messages will now be arriving in a timely fashion.

We will leave Service Status on amber whilst we monitor the platform and will provide a further update later today.

Please note that no email has been rejected as result of this problem and all email has been queued for delivery.
