What does the work involve?
We will be running a simulation to identify what would happen should one of our primary web servers fail. This is being done because we suspect that there is a problem with the part of the failover mechanics that are in place - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Failover
We are also conducting some routine work one of our internal databases.

Is it likely to cause problems?
No, but you'll not be able to access our website until the work is complete.

Is there anything else I need to know?
Holding pages will be in place on the website.
