Broadband Network Capacity

We have three different 'settings' for our automated network management solution according to the conditions the network is under - Plan A (normal operation), plan B (high demand operation) and Plan C (disaster situation).

On Monday we took the decision to switch to a Plan B network configuration. This was in response to a problem we experienced last weekend that left us with less network capacity when compared to what would would normally be available. We have also seen record volumes of streaming traffic over recent weeks due to current media events.

The problem from the weekend has now been resolved and we're seeing network conditions return to normal. We may need to perform some more balancing later on this evening and will announce further details nearer the time if we consider this to be necessary.
