Regional Fault Resolution Delays - UPDATE

We've received a further update about the MBORC raised on Friday the 15th June in 15 areas across the UK. The latest update from Openreach is as follows:
"In our last update to you on Friday 24 June, we confirmed that we had managed to limit MBORC to only 15 of our 73 areas and avoid declarations in other areas despite the continued impact of severe weather and flooding across the UK.
The picture today:
The intake of faults over the weekend and into the start of this week remains significantly higher than average for this time of year.
It really is a mixed picture out in the field at the moment. While the wet weather has been bad in most areas it has been simply relentless in others. As a result, whilst a small number of areas are today reporting declining repair work stacks, several others have seen a continued increase. In some areas this represents a 200 per cent increase in repair volumes since the beginning of the month.
We have been working flat out to reduce repair volumes across the country and have made good progress in many areas thanks to investing in maximum overtime, cancelling all non-essential training and moving engineers across patches into those areas worst affected.
MBORC lifted in five locations:
These measures have helped us get the work stack into a more manageable state in five of the 15 areas where MBORC was originally declared on Friday 15 June. As of 14:00 today, MBORC will therefore no longer apply in:
Gloucester
Lea Valley
Mid Wales
Stoke
Shrewsbury and Hereford"
As soon as any further information is available we'll let you know.
