This is an update to this afternoon's post about the problem affecting some customers' ability to browse webpages and use other Internet applications.
Following this afternoon's maintenance, customers should no longer be experiencing problems. We have disabled access to the affected gateway (PCL-AG08) as a precaution whilst we await the arrival of some replacement hardware.
There are several hundred customers who are connected to this gateway following the maintenance earlier, however our testing suggests that they too should be able to browse and use the Internet as normal.
The gateway will remain out of service pending a hardware replacement that we're hoping to carry out tomorrow.
Assuming this work is successful, we will return PCL-AG08 to service and close this service status thread.
