Planned Web Hosting (CGI) Maintenance - Thursday 24th July 2.00pm-4.00pm

CGI Services

Posted on: Tuesday 22 July 2014, 10:48

When's this work happening?
Thursday afternoon, 24th July.

What does it affect?
Access to our old CGI servers and customers' old MySQL databases.

How long will it take?
A couple of hours.

What does the work involve?
Following the successful migration of our customers' data to a new hosting environment, we're decommissioning the old CGI FTP servers and MySQL databases.

Am I likely to notice the work?
No. The old servers have not been in use for several months now and FTP/SQL access was disabled some time ago.

Is there anything else I need to know?
Following this work we will no longer be able to recover data from the old CGI FTP servers. You can find more information about this in the announcement here - http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1406018944.htm
