We have received notice from our suppliers of a declaration of MBORC which is preventing them being able to provide actions within normal timescales. Please see the notification below:

"Parts of the UK were hit with severe storm conditions, with record levels of rainfall and flooding, over the Christmas period and into this week.

This seriously impacted Openreach's infrastructure, both above and below ground, with fault intake in the affected areas at extremely high levels and serious access and mobility problems for our engineering teams.

Openreach is therefore declaring MBORC for repair activities in the following areas, with effect from 23:59 29 December 2015:

South Yorkshire & Chesterfield
West Yorkshire
Humber

In addition, due to the prevailing conditions, Openreach is declaring a second MBORC event for repair activities in the following areas following the storms earlier in December 2015:

Cumbria
North Wales

The conditions in these areas are particularly challenging but we continue to take steps, including directing additional resource into these areas, to bring the position back to normal as quickly as possible.

We are monitoring the situation and will remove MBORC as soon as service can be restored to the levels they were at immediately before the severe weather."

Kind Regards
