We have received communications from our suppliers regarding the MBORC (Matters Beyond Our Reasonable Control) declaration for some areas of the country. Please find the information regarding this below:

"Much of the UK has been seriously affected by severe weather conditions over the past two months or so with a series of storms bringing high winds, heavy rainfall and flooding and last week, parts of the country were hit by storm Imogen, bringing further extreme weather, in particular to the west and south west.

Our infrastructure in a number of our SOM areas was further impacted with fault intake in the affected areas is at extremely high levels and with serious access and mobility problems for our engineering teams. Openreach declared MBORC for provision appointment availability (FAD) in two areas, with effect from 23:59 10 February 2016

We have already removed one of these areas and are now able to remove MBORC for provision appointment availability (FAD) from the remaining area, with effect from 23:59 16 February 2016:

Bristol

MBORC for repair activities remains in place in the following areas:

Bristol
Taunton
North Wales

In all of these cases we are continuing to direct available additional resource into the affected areas in order to bring the position back to normal as quickly as possible.

We will be monitoring the situation and will remove MBORC from these areas "

Kind Regards
