Posted on: Thursday 31 March 2016, 11:38

We have received notice from our suppliers of a declaration of MBORC which is preventing them being able to provide actions within normal timescales. Please see the notification below:

"
Parts of the UK have been hit by storm Katie over the Easter period, bringing severe weather conditions with high winds and heavy rainfall.

As a result of this, our infrastructure in a number of our SOM patches has been impacted both above and below ground, with high fault intake in the affected areas.

Openreach is therefore declaring MBORC for repair activities in the following areas, with effect from 12:00 31 March 2016:

Thames South
West Downs
Isle of Wight
Central Downs
Taunton
Crayford

We are continuing to take steps, including directing additional resource into these areas, to bring the position back to normal as quickly as possible.

We are monitoring the situation and will remove MBORC as soon as service can be restored to the levels they were at immediately before the severe weather."

Kind Regards
Customer Support
